Professional Awareness Courses

The Branch arranges Professional Awareness Courses a number of times each year. These are generally held one evening a week over a period of four or five consecutive weeks. These courses are not intended as a substitute for commercial or workplace training. They should be treated as introductory or refresher courses suitable for IT professionals who wish to broaden their experience.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certificates are issued for attendance of courses organised by the branch.

Attendees need not be BCS members but members are offered a discounted rate.

We are currently running a course on e-Commerce Implementation though, as this has already started, no new attendees can be taken. Future courses will be announced here and via the Branch e-mail lists.

If there are particular subjects you think are appropriate for BCS Current Awareness courses, please contact the Branch Secretary.
